School-Linked provides out-of-school care to Westmount Elementary & Trinity Christian Academy students in Strathmore, Alberta.

We aspire to be an exemplary, powerful learning community, and we are committed to ensuring an inclusive, collaborative thinking culture.

Why & How We Work

The School-Linked program encourages, respects, and supports our students, the school, and the community.  We promote fun, safety, and learning to the highest standard. Our convenient and flexible out-of-school care programs offer students and parents solutions to manage time, learning, and life outside the classroom.

Above all else we are a team. Our School-Linked team works together, and alongside parents, to provide the best quality program for the children in our care. We believe in the 3 R’s to guide design and implementation of the program and curriculum: Respect, Responsibility, Right.

Who We Are

Becca Ness - I've lived in Strathmore for 12 years and feel proud to call it home. I love the sense of community here and how everyone is so friendly and kind. I have been in the Early Childhood Education field for seven years and love the small impact you can make on a child’s life. Even if it is as simple as a smile, helping them learn something new, or making them feel like they belong. It brings me joy to know that I can impact a child in a positive way and get to be a part of their learning, and growing process. I am married and hope to have my own children in the future. In my spare time, I enjoy fishing, gardening, baking, camping, traveling, and hanging out with the cows at my in-law’s farm. I am very excited to be the Director of School-Linked and to see our “Linked Family” grow.

Kelly WesaA little bit about me, I’ve been in the Early Childhood Education Field since 2006 when I did my first practicum in a Nursery school. My goal was to be a Kindergarten Educator but I fell in love after my first week in my practicum and knew I could make a greater difference in a child’s life in the earlier years and also have a stronger relationships with families.

I graduated in 2008 back in Ontario and worked in several childcare centres in a variety of classrooms from infants, toddlers, preschool and running a before and afterschool program.

I followed my heart and the love of my life and moved out to Alberta in 2015 to start my family.

I’m a proud mother of three to my son and my two step children.

I’m also a strong and passionate educator as well. I value my relationships with the children I work with but also value the relationships I have with their families too.

I truly believe it takes a village to raise children and I feel so honoured to be apart of your child’s village. I’m always happy to help and answer any questions. I look forward in meeting you and working with your children.

School-Linked is proud to be an independently owned business, operating in partnership with Westmount Elementary School & Trinity Christian Academy as part of the Golden Hills School Division (GHSD).

All partnership stakeholders recognize the importance of flexible, convenient, quality programs for our students outside of normal classroom hours. We are pleased to work together to provide valuable care to our students.

My child comes home every night and is excited about what he did at School-Linked.  I feel confident in the quality of program that my son is receiving and the staff are amazing.  So kind and caring. Highly recommended! - Anonymous
