ABOUT OUR PROGRAM

WHERE WE ARE LOCATED

Pick-up and drop off for School-Linked is at the southwest "Grade 2" doors of Westmount Elementary.
PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON THE BUS RUN FROM 7:30AM - 8:21AM & 3:00PM - 4:00PM.

Before school care is provided from 6:30am – 8:21am

Our before school program students are provided time and assistance for completion of any homework or reading, and unique learning opportunities based on their interests.  When time and weather permits, fitness/outside time allows students the opportunity to stretch their muscles before heading into the classroom. Note that we do not provide breakfast.

After school care is provided from 3:00pm – 6:00pm

Students are provided a nutritious after-school snack and the opportunity to stretch, move and reconnect with friends prior to working on their classroom-assigned homework.  Our team is available to assist and guide the students in completing any homework assignments, and/or at-home reading. Fitness and/or outside time is an important part of our program, alongside a distinctive learning curriculum based on the student’s interests.

ANNUAL FEES
 

ANNUAL REGISTRATION FEE = $25.00

FULL-TIME (includes before & after school care) = $475.00 per month

PART-TIME (includes EITHER before OR after school care) = $375.00 per month

DROP IN (2 – 4 days per week, before and/or after school care) = $25.00 per day

Drop in students are now required to commit to a minimum of 2 days per week.

SIBLING DISCOUNT - A 10% discount is applied to the monthly fees for the second(+) child's registration.

PLEASE NOTE: SCHOOL-LINKED STRATHMORE (WESTMOUNT ELEMENTARY) IS A NUT-FREE FACILITY.

PD DAYS & FLEX FRIDAYS

What a great way to spend the day! The School-Linked program offers full-day “camp-style” programs for all Professional Development (PD) and Flex Fridays throughout the school year.

PD/Flex Day programs run from 8am - 3pm. 

 

These full-day programs are FREE to any of our students registered in the full-time before and after school care programs. PD / Flex Days for drop-in/part-time students are $50 per day. 

​

School-Linked offers an exciting line-up of activities, crafts, special guests, theme-days, outside / fitness time, games, and much more to keep our students engaged, active, and learning outside of their normal classrooms.

TEACHERS CONVENTION

School-Linked is excited to provide a full-week program in February during the GHSD Teachers Convention.

​

Program dates and times:

Teachers Convention: February 18 - 21, 2025 8am - 5pm

​

Program cost is FREE to full-time registered School-Linked students.
 

Program cost for all other registrants is $50.00 per day.

CLOSURES

We will be CLOSED for Christmas break, Easter break, Summer break, and all STAT holidays, including National Truth & Reconciliation Day.

HOW TO REGISTER

The program has limited availability remaining for the 2024/2025 school year.

  1. Download the registration form.

  2. Forms may also be picked up in person at School-Linked at Westmount Elementary during program hours.

  3. Review, complete, and return the form:

    1. By e-mail to schoollinkedstrathmore@gmail.com OR,

    2. At School-Linked at Westmount Elementary during program/staff hours (6:30am to 9:00am and/or 3pm - 6pm)

  4. Upon receipt of your completed registration form, our team will be in contact with you to arrange for your deposit and payment.

  5. Payment is accepted by cash, cheque, or e-transfer.

  6. Monthly payments must be received before the first day of the month to ensure a spot for your child.
